Join our Team - Product manager
At Apricity Robotics we strive to harness the power of AI and robotics to bring the warmth of hope and healing, revolutionizing healthcare and transforming challenging situations into opportunities for growth and progress. Our robot is improving sonographers’ quality of life and improving the quality of ultrasound scans. Our team is differentiated by its expertise in creativity, engineering, and delivering robots with advanced intelligence, dexterity, and care – specifically designed to work alongside people, in existing environments. Every day, we embrace challenging problems, developing new solutions and practical implementations that make robots intuitive and exceptional co-workers. We approach our work with passion, making every day an adventure.
About The Role
We are looking for a sharp, market-fluent product leader to join our team as our first dedicated Product Manager. This role, located in person in Dublin, Ohio, owns the connection between the people who use our robot — cardiac sonographers and the echo labs they work in — and the product we build. You will be the voice of the market inside the company: continuously gathering clinical and customer insight, turning it into clear product direction, and making sure what engineering builds is what the field actually needs.
What You’ll Do
Build and run a continuous Voice of Customer process with cardiac sonographers and echo lab directors, developing deep, firsthand fluency in the echo lab workflow — scheduling, throughput, staffing, ergonomics, and reimbursement.
Translate field insight into product decisions, not just reports — carrying what you learn in the echo suite directly into the roadmap.
Own the Product Requirements Document (PRD) as a living artifact: writing it, maintaining it, and keeping it tight as the product evolves.
Define user needs and design inputs in collaboration with engineering and quality, in a form that an engineer respects and a regulator can trace.
Partner with Engineering to sequence the roadmap based on clinical and commercial priority, and close the gaps between what is being built and what the market needs.
Maintain an ongoing competitive and market landscape that informs roadmap and positioning decisions.
Serve as the primary product interface with our clinical study sites and earliest customers, and support go-to-market planning including customer segmentation, positioning, and value proposition.
Work with strategy on product-related content for hospital, partner, and investor narratives where product-market fit is the story.
Provide product context and user needs documentation to support 510(k) submissions and the human factors engineering file, and surface usability risks and workflow edge cases that need to be addressed in design and validation.
About You
5+ years of product management or downstream product marketing in FDA-regulated medical devices (Class II or higher), or equivalent advanced experience.
Direct experience with Voice of Customer processes, clinical workflow analysis, and translating field insight into clear, actionable requirements.
Familiarity with design inputs, user needs documentation, and how they feed regulatory submissions.
Demonstrated ability to work across clinical, engineering, and regulatory teams and to deliver alignment, not just artifacts.
Comfort operating without a defined playbook — you will be building this function at Apricity from the ground up.
You believe product definition is the hardest and most important job in the company, and you are more at home in an echo suite than a conference room.
You push back when clinical reality doesn’t match the roadmap, and you are energized by early-stage ambiguity rather than threatened by it.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and executive presentation skills.
Passion for building impactful technology that improves the lives of real users.
Bonus Points
Experience in cardiac imaging, echocardiography, or imaging-adjacent clinical domains.
Background working directly with sonographers, echo lab directors, or cardiologists.
Prior startup or early-stage medtech experience (Series A/B environment).
Familiarity with robotic or software-enabled device platforms.
Familiarity with human factors engineering (IEC 62366) and design controls.

Time Off:
